Being a designer, I know that the process of your work is just as important as the end result you produce. This year, being a final year student Graphic Communication at Newcastle College, I am taking that philosophy and applying it in my educational life as well.
I am Casper, a 19-year old Dutch freelance designer and developer, soon to be experiencing the ‘art’ of writing posts. While copywriting is something I have done on multiple occasions in the past, self-directing a blog takes a lot more focus and planning. Interestingly, I tend to need these two things as well for the work I will be doing in the upcoming year. Amidst the global pandemic, I aim to expand my knowledge and set new boundaries for the work I do. Applying a new step in the process of creating wonderful digital experiences: the User Experience methodology. (Insert audible gasp)
During this readable trip through my mind, I will be sharing my personal views on project progress, future technologies and groundbreaking software developments. As well as the things that make my designer-heart beat faster and the laws that make this occurrence an actual possibility, as opposed to just a metaphor.
It’s my personal reflective diary. And I’m glad you’re here to read it with me.
