Hello! I’m Casper, a 19-year old freelance designer.
First of all, welcome to this humble blog. While I do like writing to begin with, this blog has been set up dedicated to my Graphic Communications course at Newcastle College. When I made the decision to come to the United Kingdom to study, it was with the clear goal of improving my skills in a way ‘conventional’ education does not allow you to. This blog documents my methods, improvements over time and other general design stories that fascinate me.

Designing the ‘hub of my views’.
If there is a place for me to express my views and interests, that collection of thoughts should have as nice of a cover as the contents itself. Because of that, I designed multiple versions of the possible site, inspired by the current typography design trends. Even after settling for one of the other designs, I made the decision to switch over during the development process of this blog. Luckily, I am not afraid of public opinion and willing to change the course my blog takes mid-development. The end result is a site where I am excited to host my stories, and share them.
Completely in style, the blog’s name ‘That’s Genius!’ is dedicated to one of the expression sentences I use myself way too often.
At the end of this academic year, I hope (and aim) to be able to say the same looking back at my accomplishments.
